ABOUT US     

HALO began in 2004, created by a group of property owners concerned by the damaging increases in taxation of property. This group found it unacceptable that property owners paid over 60% of total taxes in Texas, yet had no powerful group to press their interests. With the goals of fair taxation, protection of property rights, and the promotion of home and land ownership, HALO was born.

OUR MISSION     

HALO works with our elected leaders and policy makers to eliminate over-taxation and over-regulation of property. We will promote good government and good management of tax dollars so that the benefits of home ownership and landownership are maximized for all.
