The Home And Land Owners Association of Texas is very straight forward and direct in its mission. Our mission is to identify, contact, share information with and develop a strong network with home and land owners across the state. We have proven over the years that home owners and land owners are active in their community and have a vested interest in good government. They should be heard…loud and clear.

HALO has proven to be a very effective voice for the un-heard voices that are busy working, raising families and doing their part. While our home owners pay 56% or more of the property taxes in Texas, of all the special interest groups in Texas none represented home owners and land owners.

HALO is proud to be doing its part in getting Texans activated and being heard. Despite what is being said about citizens standing up and speaking out, we will continue building this powerful group and invite all to join and share their views.

HALO is currently reaching out across the state to expand and strengthen its membership. Your support is used to meet our goal of having members in every town and neighborhood in Texas. HALO works for its members…our track record speaks for itself!!

Guiding Principles
- Government should never take one penny more than is absolutely essential from the wealth of the citizens.
- The individual knows best how to use and increase the value of their property and wealth.
- The right of the individual to own property without fear of confiscation is the bedrock of the rule of law.
- Private property and the governments respect and promotion of private property assures our freedom, prosperity and supports the family.
